FAQs
Who may benefit from services?
Services may be a good fit for children, adolescents, or adults who would benefit from focused support with specific areas of everyday life. This may include communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, flexibility, independence, daily living skills, social participation, safety, or challenging behaviors. Motive may also be a good fit for families seeking practical guidance, caregiver coaching, or targeted behavioral support without the need for a comprehensive, high-hour ABA program.
Do you offer traditional intensive ABA therapy?
Motive specializes in focused, individualized ABA services rather than comprehensive, high-hour treatment models. Recommendations are based on each individual’s specific needs and meaningful treatment goals. All clinical services are provided directly by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Motive Behavioral Consulting does not utilize RBTs or other direct-care staff.
What happens after I contact Motive?
We’ll start by discussing your concerns, goals, and the type of support you’re looking for. If Motive appears to be a good fit, we’ll review next steps for intake, benefits verification when applicable, and assessment.

Do you accept insurance?
Motive Behavioral Consulting is working with select insurance plans. Coverage varies by plan and service, and benefits will be verified before beginning insurance-funded services.
