Paying for Services
Motive offers both insurance-funded and self-pay services. Participation with insurance plans may vary, and coverage is dependent on individual benefits, eligibility, authorization requirements, and the services provided.
01 INSURANCE
Motive is currently in-network with Aetna. We are pending in-network status with other insurance carriers.
Insurance carriers may cover ABA services with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). If you are seeking ABA services without an ASD diagnosis, self-pay may still be an option to receive services.
When Motive is in network for the client’s applicable plan and covered service, Motive will follow that contract, submit required claims, and collect only permitted copayments, deductibles, coinsurance, and noncovered amounts.
Eligibility or authorization does not guarantee payment. A denial does not automatically permit private-pay billing. Motive will review the denial, appeal rights, applicable law, and plan contract before proposing a self-pay arrangement.
A service outside coverage or after a final denial may be privately paid only when the specific contract and law allow, with advance written agreement and a Good Faith Estimate when required
02 SELF PAY
Self-pay rates are:

$125 for a 60-minute caregiver training or BCBA direct therapy session.

$500 for a focused assessment and written report.
Behavior consultation and other units require an itemized quote or applicable fee schedule before service. You will receive a separate Good Faith Estimate when required; it is an estimate, not a prepaid package or guarantee of a fixed final amount.
